Projects include:

- Working closely with the Canterbury Heritage and Design Forum
- Organising the biennial Canterbury Society Design Awards (with awards under various categories including new buildings, urban spaces, retrofits, housing)
- Working with Canterbury City Council on the production of its revised Shopfront Guidelines
- Submitted consultation responses to the Council’s LUF (Levelling Up Fund) especially with regard to the proposed restoration of the castle.
- Campaigning for the abolition of plastic windows in conservation areas
- Re-furbishing of St Dunstan’s pedestrians’ underpass (completed November 2020)
- Photographic competitions.
All our Projects are delivered by volunteers and if you are interested in joining any of our Working Groups please contact: chair@canterburysociety.org.uk
