Hello – I’m Hilary, Chair of the Canterbury Society.
Welcome to our website and I hope you enjoy reading about the Projects, Campaigns, Events, Talks and Social Activities we get involved with. The focus of our work covers a wide spectrum from Architecture, Green Spaces, Transport, Litter, Heritage, Planning, Shop fronts, Design, Community, Historic Buildings, Council Matters, Local Democracy, Quality of Life – and many more topics.
We are a group of committed volunteers who work hard to make Canterbury a better place to live, work and play. I got involved because I care about our city and the Society provides a focus for all those who care too.
