Winter Well Canterbury – The Beaney
Canterbury City Council and East Kent Health & Care Partnership have organised two events on Saturday 26th October at Thanington Resource Centre and at the Beaney on 16th November from 11am – 2pm.
We will be giving away free coats and winter woolies to people who need them. There will be health and care experts on hand to answer questions. An immunisation team should be on hand. The NHS bus will be at Thanington and the Salvation Army at the Beaney. We will have giveaways and there will be children’s activities. We will be giving out drinks. There should be people to give Oral Health Checks, Energy Advice, Benefit and Housing Advice, Community council officers. There will be leaflets from lots of organisations including the food bank. The Lord Mayor and lady mayoress will be attending both events.
