The River Stour and its Wildlife photographic competition
To celebrate World Rivers Day on Sunday 24 September, the Canterbury Society is launching a photographic competition. The aim is to showcase the rare chalk stream habitat of our Great Stour River and its wonderful diversity of plantlife and wildlife. The competition is part of the Great Stour Riverfest – the first ever festival of the Stour. The deadline for entries is the Friday 15 September, followed by a prize giving on the Saturday 23 September.
The competition is open to all ages living, working or studying in the Canterbury district.
There are two entry categories: children 15 and below and adults 16+
Photographs should be a minimum size of 3MB and can be either landscape or portrait format.
Photographs can be of the river landscape and/or its plantlife and wildlife.
Photographs should be taken of the Stour within the Canterbury district.
Photographs should be emailed to: photocompetition@gn.apc.org
Please include in your entry: your name, home/work/study address and if it is a child entering their age.
