NEW RESEARCH ON POVERTY IN CANTERBURY LAUNCH OF REPORT ON 3RD APRIL

New research has revealed that there is more poverty in the Canterbury district than many people realise. Interviews carried out locally found growing numbers of people living in poverty, increasingly serious levels of deprivation and more and more stretched resources among those trying to help.
The results of the research will be presented by Jan Pahl and Martin Vye at a special event to launch the report on this study. The report ends with some powerful recommendations for action which will provide a basis for discussion about the way ahead.
