Heritage Open Days

Heritage Open Days is an annual celebration of England’s history and culture that allows visitors free access to heritage sites and community events that are either not usually open to the public, would normally charge an entrance fee, or that are putting on something special for the festival.
This year’s theme is ‘ Routes, Networks, Connections’ and a variety of venues are offering offer free entry to sites in Canterbury including old favourites as well as some new venues this year For details of venues and dates / times please visit the website at:-

Please check the website before you attend any venues in case of any last minute changes. Leaflets will be available at all participating venues and in the Beaney Library in our High Street from Friday 5th August.
