The Canterbury Masonic temple is one of the oldest in Kent, the foundation stone was laid in March 1880, and some of the lodges that meet there are amongst the most established lodges in Freemasonry.
The building has a richness and aura about it that temples built in the 20th and 21st centuries do not have.
Accessibility – there are no steps, but a narrow corridor that may cause issues for those with mobility problems.
